Move + Breathe

Connecting Body to Breath for Healing and Restoration

In this class we will be deepening our connection with, and purification of, the body through the a powerful combination of Movement and Breath.

We’ll begin with a gentle Pranayama to open the body, led by Beth. Transitioning to connecting the breath with movement through the Yoga Asanas, you will be guided through a healing Vinyasa Flow led by Véronique Jewell, Owner of Sanctuary Yoga. Transitioning next into expanded healing in the tissues and subtle body, Beth will lead again with a deeper, and very nourishing somatic Pranayama Breathwork session to further cleanse the body and re-balance the Chakras. We will close with a long Savasana (resting pose) and guided grounding meditation.

No experience with any yoga, meditation, or breathwork necessary.

*Advanced registration recommended as space is limited.

This very special class is being offered for the same rate as Véronique’s regular Tuesday 90-minute Vinayasa: $14 pre-reg / $16 drop-in. You are invited and encouraged to give an extra donation in support of this humble, collaborative offering. We thank you!

In her deeply healing group work, Beth creates a sacred, safe container for self-exploration. With powerful music & essential oils, and the support of the elements (Earth, Air, Water and Fire) she holds space for you to somatically release stuck energy, emotions, and pain from the body.

We will connect as a group, set our intention for healing, and use the Breathwork to move and balance your energy. ABOUT THE BREATH

Breathwork (Pranayama Yoga) is a simple, yet profound breathing technique. An active meditation used to move and clear stuck energy, it purifies the nervous system, eliminates toxins from the body and blood, and restores balance emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Through this practice you have the power to heal old wounds, cultivate a deeper, clearer connection with your true, authentic self, and step into a whole new way of being that is lighter, more free, and in alignment with your soul's highest purpose.
