Solar Storms & Lion's Gate
When I began to learn more about how I experience energy as an Environmental Empath, one of the first things my mentor taught me about were Solar Flares. She explained to me that when the Sun releases these powerful bursts of electromagnetic energy, I also feel them in my body.
Technically we all do.
Because I am so innately sensitive to the movement of energy occurring in the cosmos, the feeling experience of this type of activity can be quite intense and uncomfortable. Gaining awareness about this aspect of my life was extremely helpful in understanding the times when I experience these intense surges of energy, and welcoming them in for the incredible gifts they really are. Whether this sounds like you too or not, read on for important insight about this powerful time!
So why am I sharing about this right now, you ask?
Well, at the present moment, we are are currently amidst a very powerful few days of Solar activity, otherwise known as a “Solar Storm”. What this means is that there are extremely high-speed winds impacting Earth’s electromagnetic field. This shock wave of solar winds is caused by powerful solar flares, or “Coronal Mass Ejections” (CME) – these bursts create radiation charged particles (that can develop their own electromagnetic fields) that project out and come sailing toward Earth. The meeting of these particles’ fields with our atmosphere modifies Earth’s electromagnetic field, and simply put, we feel it.
This incoming energy can temporarily cause people to feel hyper-sensitive – those who are highly sensitive to energy often wake up on the mornings of a Solar Storm with high, and even chronic anxiety, feeling their body vibrating intensely, and can’t quite understand why or where it has come from. Although they may feel turbulent, Solar Storms are extremely positive and powerful periods of transformation that ultimately shift us to a higher dimension. In these times, we go through a major detox and shift, and our DNA/cells upgrade and vibrate on a higher level. During this time, Intuition will be strong, distortions will clear, and awareness will heighten.¹
To compound this magnificent event, we are also currently amidst the opening of the powerful 8:8 Lion’s Gate Portal. The Lion’s Gate Portal is open from July 26th to August 12th, sending beams of high vibrational energy to planet Earth, however the energies are at their peak on August 8th.
Portals allow surging energy to freely and rapidly travel between dimensions of distant locations in the Universe. This energy is known to emanate a life-changing, highly charged transformational frequency, and is an opportunity to experience a full, conscious awakening with renewed energy, infinite possibilities, higher wisdom, optimum growth, and increased and deeper levels of love and wisdom.
The Lion’s Gate Portal opens every year at this time and occurs when the Sun moves into its ruling sign of Leo (the sign of the Lion) and peaks when it aligns with the rising of the star, Sirius. Lion’s Gate gifts us a rare opportunity to receive an influx of spiritual wisdom that offers infinite possibilities and resources to create and maintain a prosperous and abundant life.¹
As we enter August, celebrating the Lion with the Sun in Leo, welcoming the transformative energies from the Solar Storm and Lion’s Gate Portal, we repeat this Mantra in honor of our great, life-giving Star, and fiery Sirus too. The Mantra Om Shree Suryaya Namaha invokes the Divine power of the Sun, and strengthens our personal connection to it as a Spiritual Ally and Guide. This Sanskrit Mantra translates as:
Om and salutations to Surya, presiding Spirit of the Sun.
Here is a general breakdown of this translation:
Om: The Divine Word and primordial origin of Sound
Shree: Salutations (Great/Lord/Divine)
Suryaya: Surya (Sun, as the Solar Deity)
Namaha: I bow to You
This Mantra vibrates with the energetic frequency of the Sun. It supports us in opening to the Sun’s healing fire, and receiving the upgrades to our cellular structure that are required to truly awaken. Use this energy to explore your intuition, higher realms of consciousness, and the infinite wisdom that lives inside of you.
